This Wednesday is International Waffle Day – a celebration for waffle lovers everywhere, but particularly here in France, where les gaufres are a particular fan favourite. We're focusing on a very particular kind of waffle, one that's not big and puffy like the ones you might find in Belgium. These waffles come from the northern French town of Lille and the bakery Meert. Gregori Pillegand, Meert's international development director, tells us what's so special about their kind of gaufre
